Yesterday Microsoft announced the preview of the VM serial console access. By introducing this user can troubleshoot the VM if the boot process has been failed. Serial Console for Virtual Machines is available in all global regions starting today.You can access it by going to the Azure portal and visiting the Support + Troubleshooting section.
Serial Console access requires administrators to have VM Contributor or higher privileges to the virtual machine. This will ensure connection to the console is kept at the highest level of privileges to protect your system. We have to make sure that the RBAC controls are specified only for the authorized administrators only.
